North X North Victorian Wine Festival

Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just looking for a fun couple of hours out, this festival is the perfect Melbourne Winter Warmer activity. On Saturday August 9th, Melbournians are invited to experience the bold, the rare, the fortified and the unforgettable, as the wines of Northeast Victoria are poured within the walls of the historic and iconic Old Melbourne Gaol City Watch House for the inaugural North x Northeast Victorian Wine festival.

The event will showcase the diversity and depth of seven wine regions—Nagambie Lakes, Strathbogie Ranges, King Valley, Beechworth, Rutherglen, Mansfield, and The Alpine Valleys. From elegant cool-climate varietals to powerful reds and pioneering Proseccos, the festival is a journey through the heart of high-country wine. I’ll be there pouring wines from Nagambie Lakes and King Valley, including a preview of the 2024 Negroamaro, only available to purchase on the day! Tickets are $50 plus booking fee.
